For the steadiest views, mount the Diamondback on a sturdy tripod or car window mount. The built-in tripod mount easily attaches to most tripods and quick-release plates. The tripod foot uses 1/4 x 20 screw threads to connect to any suitable support.

The tripod mount collar allows you to rotate the spotting scope body, providing greater viewing flexibility when mounted on a tripod or car window. Loosen the thumbscrew, rotate the body to your preferred angle, then tighten the thumbscrew to secure the position.

The versatile zoom magnification enables you to survey a wide field of view at lower power and zoom in on details at higher power. Increase the magnification by turning the adjustment ring clockwise, and decrease it by turning the ring counter-clockwise.

After adjusting the magnification, some refocusing is typically required. Turn the focus dial to fine-tune the focus. A well-focused image not only reveals critical details but also ensures fatigue-free viewing.

The adjustable eyecup twists up and down, allowing you to observe the full field of view, even when wearing eyeglasses. Twist the eyecup down to view with glasses, and twist it up to view without them.
