The National Geographic 10x42 binoculars are a versatile and ideal companion for all your outdoor adventures. Whether you're hiking, birdwatching, camping, or traveling, a solid pair of binoculars can be a handy tool. This particular model is both waterproof and fogproof, ensuring all-weather performance, and comes with a bright yellow floating strap.

The 42mm aperture brings in ample light, combined with the fully coated optics to produce images with excellent contrast and clarity. The 10x magnification delivers crisp, detailed views. Additional features include twist-up eyecups for comfortable viewing, lens covers for protection, a sleek roof prism design that's easy to grip, and a tripod thread.

These binoculars boast a 300ft field of view at 1000 yards, providing a generous, wide perspective. The waterproof and fogproof construction makes them ideal for use around water, with the floating neck strap ensuring they won't be lost if dropped.

The compact, rugged design of these binoculars makes them versatile for a wide range of activities, including birdwatching, hiking, hunting, camping, wildlife observation, and even whale watching. The package includes a carrying case, floating neck strap, lens caps, and a cleaning cloth, providing everything you need to get started.

Manufactured by Bresser and licensed by National Geographic, you can be assured of quality construction and reliable after-sales support.

To adjust the interpupillary distance, hold the binoculars in the normal viewing position and move the barrels closer together or further apart until you see a single circular field. Most binoculars have a graduated area at the top of the center hinge for reference.

To adjust the diopter setting and center focus, set the diopter scale on the right eyepiece to 0, focus the left eye, then focus the right eye using the diopter setting. This ensures both eyes remain in focus when using the center focus wheel.

If you wear sunglasses or eyeglasses, fold down the eyecups to bring your eyes closer to the lenses, providing an improved field of view.

To clean the binoculars, first blow away any dust or debris on the lens. Then, use a soft cotton cloth to gently rub the lens in a circular motion to remove dirt or fingerprints. Avoid using coarse cloth or unnecessary rubbing, as this can scratch the lens surfaces. For a thorough clean, you may use a photographic lens cleaning fluid, applied to the cloth, never directly on the lens.
